Thought I’d share a couple of Logos I recently designed. To be honest the one on the right ,”Chaos Interrupted” has not been completely adopted by its owner. Not that they got a new or different one. Originally the word Chaos was in black but I changed it to be the complementary colour of yellow green to grab attention better.
The “Nucleus” logo is out there doing it’s job.
The process of designing a logo is really interesting. It begins with a meeting ( or online contact) with a client. Some basic questions about their business is asked ( nature of, mission, etc) and a Design Brief is created. From the Design Brief different concepts can be suggested that best visually represent their business -hence the Logo.
Perhaps the most difficult part is choosing the exact colours.
Most of the time some compromise comes into play between the client and the designer. Convincing the client to omit or include an element may or may not work. This is not always a bad thing as some designers think. After all allowing client input makes the logo sometimes represent their personality better; so long as the overall message of the business is best represented by the logo design.
Finally, after several updates and revisions and correspondence with the business owner a Logo is created and I get paid…which is an added bonus.
